A portfolio that reflects the studio
Creative Balcony is a creative agency led by Sameer Thakor. Its work spans branding, design, CGI imagery, video and web development, with a portfolio including projects for Amazon Music, Asian Paints, GSK and Castrol.
Hilvy built and maintains the agency’s Webflow website. The engagement covers the website, portfolio content, performance work and training for the team who keep it up to date.
Visual weight without a difficult workflow
A creative studio’s portfolio needs to show the quality of its work before a prospective client gets in touch. For Creative Balcony, that meant giving image-heavy CGI and design projects enough space while keeping pages practical to load and manage.
The team also needed to add new projects independently. A polished launch would only solve part of the problem if every subsequent case study required a developer. Content structure and handover were therefore part of the website brief.
The website and the publishing system
A design shaped around the work
We designed and built the Webflow site with bold typography, considered motion and layouts that give the creative work a strong presence. Performance optimisation was part of the implementation, particularly for the image-heavy project pages.
CMS collections for a growing portfolio
Structured collections hold projects, services and case-study content. We populated the portfolio through the CMS, giving the site real content as well as a reusable publishing structure. The distinction matters for a studio: new work can fit the existing site without losing the visual consistency of earlier projects.
Training as part of the handover
We worked with Sameer and the team on managing the CMS themselves. Hands-on training accompanied the build, so the people responsible for the portfolio could add and update content without relying on development support for day-to-day edits.
Keeping the portfolio current
Creative Balcony has a Webflow site that can evolve alongside its client work. Its team manages the CMS, while our ongoing relationship covers the development and refinement around it.
The work connects visual website design with content support and website maintenance. It is a portfolio built both for the visitor deciding whether to enquire and the team publishing the next project.
