NFT Marketplace app & website design

VeVe, the digital collectibles platform by ECOMI, had established itself as one of the most talked-about NFT marketplaces in the crypto space. We undertook a comprehensive redesign of their website and app interface in Figma, developing a functional Webflow prototype to demonstrate how the platform could better present its growing catalogue of licensed digital collectibles to collectors and investors alike.

Despite VeVe's strong market position and impressive licensing deals with major entertainment brands, the platform's digital interface wasn't matching the quality of its content. The existing website and app design felt cluttered, with inconsistent visual hierarchy that made browsing collections and evaluating drops harder than it needed to be. For a platform selling premium digital collectibles, the shopping experience itself needed to feel premium.

The NFT space moves at extraordinary speed, and platform interfaces that don't evolve quickly begin to feel dated within months. VeVe's design had accumulated layers of features without a cohesive visual system tying them together. The redesign needed to establish a scalable design language that could accommodate future growth while making the current experience immediately better for users.

We designed the full website and app interface in Figma, focusing on three principles: clarity, collectability, and confidence. The new design introduces a cleaner grid system for browsing collectibles, more prominent visual presentation of individual items with their rarity and edition details, and a streamlined purchase flow that reduces friction at the point of conversion. Dark backgrounds with strategic colour accents create a gallery-like browsing experience that elevates the perceived value of the digital collectibles.

The Figma design was then developed into a functional Webflow prototype that demonstrates key interactions, responsive layouts, and the overall user journey. The prototype was submitted to the VeVe team as a concrete proposal for how their platform could evolve, with every design decision backed by clear rationale around user behaviour and marketplace dynamics.

The redesign demonstrated how a more refined interface could enhance the VeVe collecting experience , improving browsing, decision-making, and purchase confidence. While the project was undertaken as a design exploration, it showcased the value of approaching NFT marketplace design with the same rigour applied to luxury ecommerce, where visual presentation, trust signals, and purchase flow directly impact revenue. The work remains a strong example of how Webflow prototyping can bring Figma design concepts to life for stakeholder review.
