Fast Figma-to-Webflow launch with brand-aligned design system
UFO Drive is radically rethinking car rental with a fully digital, app-based experience that eliminates queues, paperwork, and the friction that makes traditional car rental miserable. We designed and built their Webflow marketing site to communicate this bold proposition with the speed and polish that matches their product experience.
Car rental is an industry defined by low expectations. Customers arrive braced for queues, upselling, hidden fees, and paper forms. UFO Drive's proposition , book entirely through an app, unlock your car with your phone, and drive away in minutes , is genuinely different. But a genuinely different product needs a genuinely different website to communicate it. The existing site wasn't telling the story with enough conviction to overcome the scepticism that years of bad rental experiences had baked into their target audience.
The site also needed to handle a complex customer journey. Unlike a typical SaaS product where the conversion path is sign up, try, buy, car rental involves vehicle selection, location choice, date ranges, insurance options, and pricing that varies by all of these. The website had to make a complex, multi-variable decision feel simple and confident , the same feeling UFO Drive promises in the rental experience itself.
We designed the site initially in Figma, then translated the approved direction into a high-performance Webflow build. The design leans into UFO Drive's futuristic brand identity with bold typography, dark backgrounds, and electric accent colours that signal innovation and speed. The user journey is structured to answer the sceptic's questions in sequence: what is UFO Drive, how is it different, how does it work, and how do I book.
The build is optimised for rapid load times and smooth scrolling, critical for a mobile-first audience who are likely to be researching rental options on their phones. Clear calls to action are placed at natural decision points throughout the page, guiding visitors toward booking without feeling aggressive. The entire site communicates the core promise: car rental that doesn't feel like car rental.
UFO Drive launched with a website that communicates their radical value proposition with conviction. The fast, polished digital experience mirrors the fast, polished rental experience they deliver in the real world, creating a coherent brand journey from first click to car key. The Figma-to-Webflow workflow enabled rapid iteration during the design phase and a smooth path to launch, while the Webflow platform gives the UFO Drive team ongoing control over their digital presence.
